Good questions.
Is it free?
Yes, it's free. You can check up to 10 photos a day; photos the phone itself turns down (too dark, blurry, a screen) don't count.
Do I need an account?
Not to start. Begin as a guest and catch right away. After 3 catches you save your stickers with an email address or Google, so they stay yours, also on a new phone. Guest accounts you don't use for 30 days are deleted.
What can I catch?
Real animals and everyday things from the current season's sets. Season 1 has 61 stickers in 10 sets like At Home, Fruit Bowl and Around the Block. A toy one counts too, as its own variant. Drawings, prints and screens don't count.
What's a streak?
Catch one thing or play the Daily Challenge every day and your streak grows. Every 7 days in a row opens a new set. Miss a day and Pedro uses a freeze, so your streak lives on: you get 2 every month.
What are variants and points?
Most items come in variants: a ginger or a tabby cat, a red or a grey squirrel. Every new variant becomes its own sticker. Points: +10 for a new find, +5 to +20 for a new variant (rarer is more), +50 for a finished set.
Do you keep my photos?
No. The photo is only used to check what it shows, by an AI service (Anthropic's Claude). It gets the small photo and the item list, not your account or location. The app cuts the sticker out on your phone. We keep the sticker, not the photo.
Who sees where I caught something?
Only you. Your exact spot is saved to your account for your own map; nobody else sees a place, area or country. When you share a sticker, you can add the area to the card yourself, never the exact spot.
How old do I need to be?
16 or older.
Which phones?
Android: join the test. Google Play first needs a test round, so email us your Google account and we add you. iPhone: coming soon.
Does it work without internet?
Your collection works offline. Checking a photo needs internet: offline, up to 5 photos wait on your phone for up to 3 days and are checked once you're back online.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete account. More on the delete account page.
